Yew-Hwa was born in Hong Kong on November 2, 1923, the daughter of Johnny and Mary Tang. In the 1980's she moved with her children to the United States.Yew-Hwa enjoyed her career as a homemaker and stay at home mom. She was known to be extremely social, particularly while chatting with her many friends on the phone. Her other hobbies included drawing, reading, and watching her favorite Chinese soap operas. Mrs. Hwang was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ming Shing Hwang. Those left to cherish her memory are her 3 sons, Chen Cheng, Herman, and Chen Chi; 2 daughters, Pao-Ling Hsia and Pao-Ling Kao; 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. All services for Mrs. Hwang will be held in private.
