OBITUARY OF WILLIAM (BILL) JAROCKI
April 27, 1948 – June 8, 2021
It is with a heavy heart and extreme sadness that I announce the death of Bill Jarocki after a 10+ year debilitating illness. Bill could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. He always had a smile on his face and never complained. For 30+ years, he was the department head and a teacher in the Related Arts Department of Carl Sandburg Middle School in Old Bridge, New Jersey. During this time, he also built his own home in Holmdel, New Jersey; worked with a partner in B and R Construction Company; worked for Home Depot; and purchased and maintained investment properties with his loving wife, Veronica. When he retired from teaching, he moved to Coral Springs, Florida, and maintained a fence business after Hurricane Wilma. He continued his association with Home Depot and worked at the Professional Desk. Because of his vast knowledge of the building industry, he assisted developers in the selection of large purchases of needed materials for their projects. He retired from all work in 2013.
Bill was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 27, 1948. As a young boy, he went on job sites with his grandfather, Nicholas Lotito, and received an excellent education in the building trades. In 1959, his family moved to Morgan, New Jersey, right across the street from his future wife, Veronica (Muth) Jarocki.
He attended Jesse Selover Elementary School in Morgan and graduated, from Sayreville Memorial High School in 1965, and Kean College of New Jersey in 1969.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Nicholas and Anna Lotito,; paternal grandparents, William and Anna Jarocki; parents Steven and Adeline Jarocki and niece and goddaughter, Jennifer Jarocki Pavolonis
He is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Veronica; his daughter and husband Stephanie and Constantine Hatzivassiliou and grandchildren, Nicholas and Olivia Hatzivassiliou; brother and wife Steven and Tilda Jarocki; brother-in-law and wife Charles and Jill Muth; nieces Carly Weiser, Lauren Muth and nephews Douglas and Gregory Muth and grandnieces Riley Weiser and Rihanna Pavilonis and grand nephew Gabriel Pavilionis.
Rest in peace, Bill. You deserve it!
