William "Bill" A. Walker, 66, of Coral Springs, FL passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 after a valiant 9 year battle with cancer. Born in Englewood, NJ on January 27, 1947, he moved to Hollywood, FL with his family at young age. Bill was a telecommunications engineer and in 1981 while working for a cable company, he met Cynthia. They married two months later and spent 32 years madly in love. Bill is truly a one of a kind man. He had a brilliant sense of humor that he will forever be remembered for. Bill was also a passionate man. That passion afforded him to be a wonderful father that taught his children with tough love. He wanted the best for everyone and was whole-heartedly involved his community. Bill is survived by his cherished wife, Cynthia Walker; son, Jeoff Walker; daughter, Brittany Walker; and granddaughter, Bella Mia Figueroa. Also left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Robin Cheaney and Kimmy Weborg; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Coral Springs Funeral Home, 1420 N. University Drive, Coral Springs, FL. The family requests that all guests wear red as it was Bill's favorite color.
