Wayne M. Peterson, 85 of Fort Lauderdale, FL passed away peacefully on October 9, 2017,
surrounded by family. He is survived by devoted wife of 61 years, Verela, five children- Doreen
(Curt), Bryan (Mary), Craig (Denyse), Coco (Charlie), Darin (Ashley), and fourteen grandchildrenJessica
(Nick), Krystin (Brandon), Shane (Katie), Melody, Sarah (Will), Hannah (Grant), Tyler,
Jacob, Trent, Emma, Noah, Chas, Chloe, Jed and two great grandsons- Drew and Truitt.
Wayne was born in 1932 in Chicago, IL. He graduated from North Western University in 1953. He
served his country in the army from 1953-1955. He then met the love of his life and got married in
1956. He obtained his CPA certificate in 1967 and was in partnership with his son until he retired in
2016.
The family is at peace knowing he is now safely in the arms of his savior.
