WAI LING MOY

Wai Ling (Elaine) Moy departed this life on July 30, 2021, at age 81, to begin her eternal life in heaven. Wai Ling is survived by her loving husband Kin Moy, her sons Edward (Madeline), Philip (Mary), daughter Linda (Victor); her grandchildren Marc, Sean, Cialina, Stephanie, Sharon, Christiana, Nicholas; her sister Judy (Daniel), brothers Frankie (Jennie), Johnny, and Tommy, and her nieces Aimee (David), Elaine (Jonathan), Jennifer, Jessica (Alex), Michelle and nephews Joseph (Karen), and Paul (Chau) in Canada.

Wai Ling was born in Canton, China on August 9, 1939. Her parents were Tak Yui and Choi Har Cheung. Before moving to Coral Springs, Florida, she lived in the Bronx, New York.

Wai Ling always put her loved ones first. She was a passionate entrepreneur and took great pride in her dry cleaning and laundry businesses. From balancing working seven days a week and being a loving mother and wife, she did it all with a smile.

She shared a life full of compassion and love with Kin, her beloved husband of 59 years. Wai Ling always showed kindness to all and shined her beautiful smile to everyone she met. We will always carry her memory in our hearts.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Hawthorne Funeral Home in Hawthorne, New York, at 12:00 PM, followed by interment at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, New York.
