Vito Thomas Sala, 86 of Kings Point in Tamarac, FL passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025.

Vito was a true New Yorker through and through. Born in Brooklyn and he had the thick NY accent to prove it. In his youth Vito loved to work with his "golden hands" and there was nothing he couldn't build or fix himself. He loved to tinker with his motorcycles, cars, boats and dune buggies. He was truly a self-sufficient man who loved helping others and he took pride in being able to help all his friends & neighbors when things needed repairs. Vito met his beloved wife, Donna and they were married in 1984. Vito built their dream home in Mastic Beach, NY and they raised their children by the sea on Long Island. They spent 45 years boating and making tons of friends together on and off the water. Many great memories were made with friends at the South Country Yacht Club. Vito's passion for boating continued in retirement & after moving down to Florida. He built an entire fleet of boats for all of his children & grandchildren to sail and enjoy. Vito was a proud US Military veteran who was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam war. Vito is survived by his loving wife Donna Sala (Falken), his step-daughter Daryle Foley (Goldstein), his step-son Gregory Goldstein & his daughter in law Sammi Goldstein (Frenkel). He was a loving grandfather to his four grandchildren, Stephanie Rose Goldstein, Jordan Hirsh Goldstein, Kendall Juliette Foley & Spencer Martin Foley.

A service will be held at the Coral Springs Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 3-6pm,  1420 North University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071.
