Virginia Harding, 87, of Fort Lauderdale, FL passed away peacefully on October 28, 2016 at her home. Virginia was the only child born to William and Virginia Schellberg. She was born in Baltimore, MD and later relocated to Silver Spring, MD with her beloved husband, Benjamin.

Virginia was secretary to the Chief of Agriculture until her eldest child was born; from then on, she was a homemaker. Virginia, affectionately called "Ginny," and Benjamin relocated to Coconut Creek and Coral Springs, FL before settling in Fort Lauderdale. One of her passions was hosting large dinner parties where she could show off her skills as a chef.

Ginny is survived by her husband of 64 years, Benjamin; her daughter, Beverly (Jay) Laurie; daughter-in-law, Sandra Harding; grandchildren, Nicole Gregory, William R. Harding, Jr., and Jeri-Lynn Lacy; brother-in-law, David (Sandy) Harding; and her beloved poodle, Joy. Ginny was preceded in death by their son, William R. Harding, Sr.
