Vincent Masciovecchio, Sr., 90, of Coral Springs, FL passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at his residence. Born in Brooklyn, NY to Emilio and Olivia Masciovecchio on August 29, 1925, Vincent joined the United States Army where he proudly served for several years during WWII. He was on the frontline at Normandy and also saw battle throughout Northern France and Central Europe before he was honorably discharged in November of 1945.

After the war, Vincent joined the NYPD where he served over 20 years during the toughest of times in Brooklyn. He always showed bravery and strength in everything he did and was proud and loving as the family leader.

Angel, Vincent's wife of 68 years, passed away just four months before him. He leaves his son and daughter-in-law, Vincent, Jr. and Christine; his daughter, Marie; 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; and his brothers, Adelmo and Louis to forever cherish his memory. Also preceeding him in death is a daughter, Louise McQuilken; brother, Ralph Masciovecchio, Sr.; and sisters, Rose Weissinger and Mary Pagano.

Friends may gather from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Coral Springs Funeral Home on Friday, April 8, 2016. A Memorial Service will begin at 6:00 P.M.
