Ursula S. Berasa, 82, of Coral Springs, FL passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Ursula was born on November 12, 1930 in Sansouci, Trinidad to Thomas and Ruth (Machango) See Wai. Ursula was a woman of tremendous faith. She had been a parishioner of St. Andrew Catholic Church in years past, but due to her health had recently turned to Sunday Mass on T.V. She had a passion for watching sports on the television, especially biking, track and field and gymnastics. Ursula was talented with her hands and enjoyed to sew and garden. What brought her the most joy and filled her completely was her beautiful grandchildren. Family was extremely important to Ursula and she made it a point to speak with her nieces every week. Ursula is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Joseph Berasa; her daughters, Jennifer (Ronald) Wigeri van Edema, Cheryl Berasa, and Deborah (Fritzner)Berasa-Henry; and her grandchilren, Ronald, Tiffany, and Stephano. Ursula also leaves her dear brother, Thomas (Shirley); brothers-and sisters-in-law, Claude (Jeanette) Berasa, Eva French, and Kelvin (Eula) Berassa; cousin, Laurencia Rique; and very dear family friend, Terri Freund, and her daughters, Samantha and Misty. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Roderick, Rose, Clement, Sybil and Sybelle; her granddaughter, Michelle; and her nephew, Raymond See Wai.
