IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tomas
Paraiso
August 3, 1955 – August 28, 2023
Tomas Paraiso, 68, of Miami, FL entered into eternal rest on Monday August 28th, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rosario "Rose", and their children Adan Paraiso, Riezl Aladin (and husband Romeo), Melvin Paraiso and Jeremiah Paraiso (and wife Lisette) as well as five grandchildren: Adrian, Zachary, Isaac, Asher and Amelia. He is also survived by his siblings Fe Paraiso, Elizabeth Wilson and Nanette Co (and husband Sonnie); and nephews/nieces: Nathaniel Esperanzate (and wife Naneth), Lynne Caine (and husband André), Jamielyn Bond (and husband Michael), and John Co, and their families.
Tom, or Chito as he was fondly called, was born on August 3rd, 1955 in Bongabon, Nueva Ecija in the Philippines to his parents Elizabeth and Fernando "Nanding" Paraiso. He attended college at the National University and University of the Philippines, Los Banos where he was a member of Alpha Phi Omega fraternity and was a student activist during the Martial Law days of the Marcos administration in the 70s. While in college, he met the love of his life, Rose, and they were married in 1978.
As a proud Mensa member, Tom was a mechanical engineer in Saudi Arabia before finding his calling in building Christ's kingdom. He went back to the Philippines and worked as a church business administrator before moving with his family to Miami, FL in 1998. He loved teaching on biblical principles, specifically about kingdom building. You can find his writings on his blog -

and his "Doing Kingdom Business with God" teaching in this link -

Fishing was another passion of Tom as he would often spend hours at the Key Biscayne Pier during his free time. His biggest catch was a 26-inch snapper!
