Stephen Talbott, 68, born on January 4, 1953, died peacefully Sunday, September 26, 2021, with his wife by his side after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Fairmont, West Virginia to Richard & Mary Carpenter. He has lived in many states including West Virginia, Tennessee, Connecticut, New York, Virginia, Florida, Maryland, Texas, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Indiana. He graduated with his degree from Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, NY in 1981 and has specialized in Kronos over the years. Steve served eight years in the United States Air Force, where he also served overseas in Spain. He enjoyed boating on the Connecticut River with his family and also going for scenic drives.

Steve leaves behind his wife, Jinhong of nine years, as well as his three children, Brian Talbott and his wife Chrissy of Downingtown, PA, his daughter Beth Vargas and her husband Jose of Berlin, CT and his daughter Megan Talbott of Cromwell, CT, along with his brother Doug Carpenter and his mother Mary Carpenter. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Brianna, Caleb & Sarah Talbott and Victoria Vargas. Steve was predeceased by his father, Richard Carpenter. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8,9). Burial will be at the convenience of the family at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL. There will be no calling hours .
