Stella Warnock, 89, of Parkland, Florida entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 30, 2024. She is survived by her children Carol Wanock-Marraffini (Phil), George Warnock (Lois), Thomas Warnock (Karin), and Christopher Warnock (Dawn). Also left to cherish her memory are her 10 grandchildren: Michelle, James, Paul, David, Sarah, Jeffrey, Ryan, Kyle, Jake, and Kristie, two siblings Raymond and Leo (Fred) Trancynger. She is preceded in death by her siblings Pauline, Jean, Walter, Chet, Alex, Sophie, Anna, and Ronnie.

Stella was born on May 7, 1935 in Yonkers, New York to her parents Stephen and Frances Trancynger. She attended school at Saint Casimir's elementary school and Gorton High School

where she was on the yearbook and newspaper staff, official's club secretary, member of the  drama club, first aid club, archery, bowling, softball, and basketball.  After high school she worked an office job and married George.  During their early married life, they were landlords of a small apartment building and she was a server at the Polish Center Banquet Hall.  After they got divorced, Stella worked as a chef for Saint Ursula's Rectory and a Friary, she was a teacher aid, and taught a cooking class in the afterschool program.

Stella was a devout catholic and contributed much time to St. Ursula's parish in Mt. Vernon NY and Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne,FL, where she was very active in their "Daily Bread" community outreach program. She loved to entertain; often hosting big gatherings for family and friends in her home in Mount Vernon.  She is well known for her kindness and service to others. She loved to shop, attend estate/garage sales, collect crystal, china, and dolls, dance and sing. She brought fun and life to everything she did.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Coral Springs, FL on Friday, September 13 at 11 AM.
