Silas Pashkin, 93, of Tamarac, FL died on Sunday, February 2, 2014. Silas was born December 29, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY, to Sam and Rosa Pashkin. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Joel (Margaret) Pashkin; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Rachel, Judi, and John; and great grandchildren, Kara, Mallory, Tristan, Haiden, Ethan, and Michele. Silas was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Julia, and his son, Burt. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on, Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Coral Springs Funeral Home. Silas will be laid to rest with his wife at Beth David Memorial Gardens, Hollywood, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests Expressions of Sympathy be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at .
