Shauna Ann Amann's Obituary
Shauna Tamoney Amann died unexpectedly on April 1, 2010 after complications from hip surgery. Shauna was "the middle child" of 8 born to Dr. Harry Tamoney and Patricia Tamoney.
After graduating from Marymount University, Shauna worked as a lab technologist at Holy Cross Hospital. She had 3 loving children, Rob, Ashley, and Lexie. She traveled extensively in her youth and the early years of her marriage.
Shauna was an avid New York Yankee fan and a passionate tennis player, winning multiple awards and trophies. She was also kind, generous and compassionate, making her mark in the lives of all who knew her.
In addition to Rob, Ashley, and Lexie, she is survived by her best friend and companion, Jack Loughren, and her faithful dog Jeter. She is also survived by her cherished brothers and sisters: Brian, Marabeth, Maura, Karen, Mark, Hugh, and Megan as well as 22 nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Monday, April 5, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, April 6, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m., with a wake service beginning Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. with Fr. Guy Fiano at Savino Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 2950 North State Rd 7, Margate, Florida 33063, (954)977-5244.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church located at 385 Southwest 3rd Street, Boca Raton, Florida 33432, (561)392-0007.
Burial will follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery located at 1500 South State Road 7, North Lauderdale, Florida 33068, (954)972-1234.
