Obituary

Sharon Blotzer (Dworek), 69, passed on peacefully on the morning of March 5, 2019 in Pompano, Florida. Sharon was born on September 29, 1949 to Lawrence Dennis Dworek and Helen Dworek (Maruzewski) of Pittsburgh, PA. Sharon is now survived by her two daughters, Natalie and Noreen, her father Larry, her brother Dennis, her son in law Nas, and her five grandchildren- Ashley, Alexia, Nicholas, Justin, and Emalee.

Sharon was an exceptional human throughout her entire life. She made friendships last beyond 50 years and made those who only had a short time with her feel like they've known her for many lifetimes. There was nothing she wouldn't do for the ones she cared for. Her childhood was all about friendship, music, and love. She graduated from South Allegheny High school alongside her closest friends, Beverly, Karen, and Valerie. When she was at the young age of 21 she married Paul Mark Blotzer of North Versailles, PA and together they had 3 lovely little girls. The eldest and youngest daughters (Natalie and Noreen) carry on her legacy as she joins her middle daughter, Nicole in a better place. After 14 years of marriage, the family moved to North Lauderdale, Florida, and many years later, Shar found her forever home in Margate, Florida. Sharon retired from the Broward County School Board in 2016 and spent the majority her free time since doing yoga, swimming, and spending quality time with her family whom she loved so dearly.

When Shar was around the house was full of laughter and warmth. Her silly personality brought out the child in everyone- you'd laugh at things you couldn't possibly find funny from any other person, but somehow was made hilarious by Sharon's charismatic way of speaking and her contagious laugh. She made every occasion feel special and important, worth celebration. Sharon gave nothing less than the purest form of love from her heart. Some of her favorite activities include swimming, spending time with her children and grandchildren, going out with her girlfriends, practicing yoga, and listening to music, singing along like no one was listening. Remember Sharon in the morning, when the sun shines through the curtains, and know that she's with you in your heart for the rest of your journey- for she wouldn't rather be anywhere else.
