Sarina Marinaro, 91, of Weston, FL and formerly of Valley Stream, NY passed away on July 18, 2015. She was born on August 13, 1923 in New York City, New York to Giuseppe and Rosaria Palazzolo.

Sarina, who also went by Rosaria, married Louis A. Marinaro on February 5, 1949. They shared 30 years of marriage before Louis' untimely passing in 1979. She was proud of her occupation as a seamstress and dressmaker while living in New York. She also worked for the Dime Savings Bank of New York as a Control Clerk before retiring to Florida, where she began a career with the Department of Labor as a receptionist.

Sarina leaves her children, Joseph A. Marinaro and his wife, Gerelin, and Louis M. Marinaro and his wife, Adrianna; her grandchildren, Francesca M. Marinaro, Joseph G. Marinaro, and Louis A. Marinaro; and her sister, Lillian Russo to cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Marinaro; her son, Michael L. Marinaro; and her brother, Vincent Palazzolo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 A.M. on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church with burial to follow at Holy Rood Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy be sent in Sarina's memory to St. John's Nursing Home, 3075 NW 35th Avenue, Lauderdale Lakes, FL 33311.
