Samuel was born on the 6th of May 1956 in Nassau, Bahamas. He attended R.M. Bailey High School in Nassau before relocating to Freeport to live with his Uncle Wendell. Here, he began his lifelong career in the hospitality industry. In 1979, Samuel emigrated to New York City, New York shortly before permanently settling in Miami, Florida. He continued his career in the hospitality industry here in Miami, beginning his 33+ year employment at Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach.

Those who know Samuel, know he valued his privacy. He was beloved by his family, coworkers, and friends; he will be remembered for his quiet kindness; and he will rest in peace eternally.
