The Lord graced us with Samahri Atarah "Tihta" Paraison's presence on the twenty-fourth day of the twelfth month in the year 2003. She is survived by her mother, sister, brother, grandparents, great grandmothers, uncles and extended family. The Lord called for our first born love Samahri Atarah on Wednesday, November 13th at the tender young age of 9. While her time was not as long as we all planned, the Lord had different intentions for her. During her time with family and friends, she proved to be a leader in many ways. Samahri showed time and time again why she was wise beyond her years. While we all take life for granted on a daily basis, she lived hers to the fullest. She was gorgeous, intelligent, ambitious, athletic, and most of all very loving. She was the best big sister one could be. Samahri Atarah set the pace and example for those behind her to follow. She consistently made the principle's honor roll and achieved the highest accomplishments at Park Lakes Elementary. Although being young in age, Samahri Atarah showed great maturity in being able to teach her elders many forgotten aspects of life. Through her uplifting spirit, the family was reintroduced to unity, happiness, appreciation, and commitment. Feeling blessed to have such a great child around, the family spoiled her with her favorite treat, anything with a high amount of sugar. She was brought up to always remember her culture and stay humble amongst all the blessings she received. Remembering the good times, "Tihta" will always live in each and every one of us. As we gather today to celebrate the life of Samahri Atarah, she has embarked on a glorious journey going hand in hand with the Creator and her loving little sister, Chloe Atarah. We love you.
