Salvatore Capezza, 46, of Coral Springs, FL passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Born in Brooklyn, NY on August 18, 1969, he was one of three sons.

A true man's man, Sal had a passion for all things sports, heading up several fantasy baseball and football leagues. Sal also enjoyed the time he spent with his son fishing and coaching his lacrosse team. He was extremely proud of his undefeated 2015 season with U15 Coral Springs Chiefs, but his modest personality would never allow him to brag about it. Sal was so proud that his daughter is attending FSU in the fall.

Sal bravely battled brain cancer for almost 2 years and always maintained a positive attitude. He had a motto for fighting cancer, #BeastMode, and was certain to end any update on his health with "Peace and Love and Family and Friends."

Sal is survived by his wife, Kristine; their children, Sofia and Nicholas; and his parents, Nicholas and Theresa. Also left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Nicholas and Frank, and his wife, Anna; and nieces, Adrianna and Alyssa.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Coral Springs Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with burial to follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
