Rosemary Ann Elliott, 74, of Coral Springs, FL passed away at home surrounded by family on June 3, 2014 after a long battle with heart complications. Rosemary, "Mommy" as she was affectionately known by all, daughter of John Sells and Mary Almeida. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick "Nelson" Elliott. She is survived by 3 daughters, Dawn Elliott of Charlotte North Carolina, Tonia Elliott of Coral Springs, FL and Loray Elliott Gibbs of West Haven, CT; 2 sons, Pierre Elliott of Davie, FL and Desmond Elliott of Coral Springs, FL. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild and her pet dog, Hazel. "Mommy" was loved and respected by all whom she encountered. She enjoyed her days spending time with her family for Sunday dinner and she loved riding motorcycles and going fishing. Rosemary was also very kind to, and loved, animals very much. She always had a pet of some sorts even up until her last day with us. Rosemary's lasts days were spent doing what she enjoyed the most: playing at the casino. She taught us to love and respect all, to never be afraid to speak your mind, and if they don't like it tell them to "kiss your behind on the corner of Church and Chapel." She will be greatly missed by family and friends but will continue to live on forever in our hearts. Friends may call for visiting hours on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Coral Springs Funeral Home, 1420 N. University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 4:00 P.M.
