Mrs. Rose Hudson, 85, of Pearl City, Honolulu, Hawaii, transitioned from this life on Saturday, June 14, 2025. Rose is survived by children Elaine, Andrea (Andre), Michele (Nigel), Andre (Elizabeth). Several grandchildren Terence (Chiconia), Damian, Cristina, Nicholas, Kathryn, Andre, Jr. (AJ) and Cristian, great grandchildren Catherine, Temperance, Xander, Miles and Micah. Sister Miriam and brother Fredrick. Several nieces and nephews.

Rose was preceded in death by husband Keith, son Richard, brothers Joseph, Sonny, David, Canty and parents Arthur Williams and Ethel Small.

Rose was born March 14, 1940, to Arthur Williams and Ethel Small in Wakefield, St. Catherine, Jamaica. Rose attended primary (elementary) school in Wakefield and High School in Banbery, St. Catherine. Rose met and married Keith Joseph Hudson in Spanish Town, St. Catherine and together had 5 children. Together they moved to Kingston, Jamaica and raised their children. Rose was always striving for a better life for her family. After their divorce Rose opened a designer boutique designing and creating fashion for many including elite society in Kingston. Rose migrated to the United States later in life following her children. She settled initially in Monroe County, New Jersey close to her sons. Whie most people were preparing to retire Rose returned to school and received a certificate in Home Health Aide Services and started a new career as a home health aide. After a few years Rose determined the cold weather was too much for her, so she decided to move to Pearl City, Hawaii to live with her beloved granddaughter Cristina. While living in Hawaii Rose took tai chi and enjoyed a good walk and miscellaneous island activities.

Rose was all about her family, she was fiercely protective of her children and insisted on quality education. Education always came first, homework first before anything else. Her three girls attended Immaculate Conception High School, and her two boys attended Jamaica College. Rose Hudson was mother to many and loved by all who came in contact with her. Mommy will truly be missed.
