Ronald Hayman, 71, of Pompano Beach, FL, passed away suddenly on January 8, 2013 at his home. Born in Mendon, OH, he lived in OH, PA, NJ and was a resident of Florida for the last 20 years. He was a graduate of Jim Thorpe High School (PA), where he played football. He joined the US Army and served for 4 years. He worked as a Lab Technologist until he retired from North Broward County Medical Center. He was married for 10 years to Marguerite Ryser, and, after divorce, remained close friends. Ron loved football and was a loyal Miami Dolphins fan. He will be deeply missed. Ron is survived by two children, daughter Kimberly Rice, son, Bud and wife Anne Marie Sotire, 3 grandchildren, Jessica Rice, Sean Rice, Samantha Hayman, 2 sisters, Pat and husband Hayden Rowe, Barbara Wiktor, a brother, Robert and wife Helen Hayman and mother, Mary K. Hayman. His father, Ralph Hayman, preceded him in death as well as Dorothy Miller, a long term friend. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Elizabeth's Gardens chapel, 801 NE 33rd St. Pompano Beach, FL 33064 on Jan 15th at 12:30 pm. A private inurnment for the family will follow at South Florida National Veterans Cemetery.
