Bob was originally from Chicago Illinois moving to Florida in 1971.

Bob was a devoted and loving husband to his wife Laurie, together for 39 years.  A devoted Catholic, with strong religious faith, greatly instilled by his mother, Anne whom he adored and cherished.  As a young boy he served as an altar boy in his Church.

His absolute best friend in the world was his dad.  They had a very special bond, spending time just hanging out together laughing and joking.

Bob loved and cared for all his family and was always there for them. He loved to spend time with family, especially boating, fishing and camping.

Bob had quite the "green" thumb tending to the yard, and some beautiful orchids kept in his "Tiki" hut.

He also enjoyed to "tinker" and fix just about anything needing fixing.

Once a Marine always a Marine.

Bob served honorably in the United States Marine Corps from 1974-1979.  As part of the Marine Corps Air Wing Unit, Bob, was a fixed wing air craft mechanic responsible for final checks prior to flights.  He served on historic ships with in the Marine Corp fleet such as the: Coral Sea, Midway and Saratoga.

Bob was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps as the rank of Corporal.  Semper- Fi!

Bob worked many years for McArthur Dairy in Sunrise FL, and then Coco Cola Bottling Plant in Hollywood FL as a Production Operations Technician maintaining high speed/volume production equipment.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Laura, sister Pat, nieces and nephew, Jessica, Melanie, Trisha, Jenny, Katie, Mitchell, brother-in-law John David and his wife Sherri, sister-in-law Doris and her husband Don.  Preceded in death by his father Robert "Woody" and mother Anne, and sister Bobbie Anne.

Bob will be greatly missed by his loving family, and all whom have been blessed to know him.

The family will accept condolences of flowers but also asks friends and family to think of donating to The Wounded Warrior Project in Robert's memory.
