Robert John Thacher, 59, of Margate, FL passed away peacefully on April 13, 2013 after a brief, but strong, battle with cancer at Coral Springs Medical Center. Bob was the beloved son of William A. and Jean Thacher of Inverness, FL. Loving father of Danielle (Brian) Thacher Porter of Courtland, NY, Nicole Thacher (John Felegy) of Sunrise, FL, and Casey Thacher of Margate, FL. Proud grandfather of Matthew and Megan Porter, and Piper Felegy. Devoted brother of William J. (Jody) Thacher and Jill Thacher (Anthony Conti). Loved uncle of Joshua (Jennifer) Mincey and Jenna (Michael) Miranda.
