Richard Patrick Cramer, 52, of Coral Springs, FL, passed away on December 8, 2019, and he will be dearly missed. Richard was born on July 20, 1967, in New Haven, Connecticut. He lived a life of laughter and wonderful memories made with those he loved.
Richard was the son of Larry Cramer and Marie Simone-Cramer. He was the brother to Larry Jr. and William (Billy) Cramer. Richard was a dedicated loving husband to Kary Ann Gunn-Cramer and stepfather to; Brandon (13), Lindsay (16), Gillian (19) and Shauna (28). Richard had one step-grandson, Travis (10). Previously he was married to Kim Cramer leaving behind four children of his own who he adored; Joey (18), Kaitlyn (21), Ricky (22) and Lauren (24).
As his mother would say, Richard was a shining star. He was an over achiever dedicated to eagle scouts, sports and academic programs. He was honored the Industrial Education Award for 1985, by the Connecticut Business and Industry Association. Richard received his Bachelor of Science, Mechanical and Materials Engineering degree as well as his, Master of Business Administration degree, from the University of Connecticut. He found a passion for the manufacturing industry with The Stanley Works Corporation. He devoted 10 years to help this organization grow manufacturing facilities in China, Mexico and the United States. He later moved into various senior business roles including Mergers & Acquisitions, Financial Services and the Software industries. Richard had a passion for business and the teams of which he built and worked with.
As passionate as he was for business, he had the same fire and drive in his personal life. His wife would say he was a true romantic, joy for outdoor activities, love for roller coasters and theme parks, regularly went to the beach for meditation and he loved all the animals his family kept bringing home. (Three dogs, cat, parrot, etc.) He was a foodie for good restaurants and enjoyed date night or with family and friends at the movies to watch the latest scary or action thriller. He enjoyed the arts and regularly went to various plays and concerts. He loved people, his smile was infectious, and we all loved his hugs. The love, laughter and fun he brought to all he interacted with will be missed.
