It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Renald Palmera Blanc, who left us peacefully on September 12, 2024. Born on April 15, 1934, in La Plate, Haiti, to Lucidace Blanc and Lizna Thelisma Blanc, Renald lived a full and meaningful life rooted in love, dedication, and unwavering strength.

Renald was the devoted husband of the late Jeanne Mertus Blanc, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and partnership. Together, they raised six children: Berland Josetanie, Judson, Robenson, Karlos, Marie Berlanne, and Frandcuse. His legacy of kindness, wisdom, and compassion continues through them. Renald's heart was large enough to not only care for his children but also embrace their spouses and adopted child: Emmanuel Petit, Genevieve Blanc, Marirsta Rigaud Blanc, Wilmine Simon, Kerline Pierre Blanc, and Patrick Mazard whom he welcomed as his own.

Renald's gentle spirit touched the lives of many, from his family and friends to the countless people he encountered over the years. His wisdom, humility, and strength were pillars to those around him, offering guidance and comfort in times of need. He was a man of deep faith, quiet resilience, and unconditional love. His presence was a constant reminder of the power of family, community, and the simple joys of life.

Renald's legacy continues through the families that were part of his life: Michel, Petit, Saimbert, Blanc, Mertus, Luxama, Mazard, and many others. Though he is no longer with us in body, his memory remains a guiding light, cherished and remembered by all who knew him.

As we say goodbye, we honor Renald Palmera Blanc for the life he lived, the love he gave, and the lasting impact he has had on all of us. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

May he rest in eternal peace, reunited with his beloved wife, Jeanne Mertus Blanc, and embraced by the love of those who went before him.
