May 4, 1956 – January 3, 2019
Ralph C. Luca, 62, of Tamarac, Florida entered into eternal peace on Thursday January 3 rd , 2019. He is survived by his wife Nita D. Luca, his son Dante M. Luca, daughters Angela and Erica Pritty, granddaughter Aurora Skye Pritty-Schaeffer, and sisters Eileen Gill and Ann Marie Luca. He is preceded in death by daughter Tiffany T. Luca, brothers Ernest and Salvatore Luca, and parents Ernest R. and Lucy Luca.
Ralph was born to Ernest and Lucy Luca on the 4 th of May 1956 in Brooklyn, New York. He married Nita D. Luca the 17 th of June 1995, they were married for 23 years and had four children. Ralph was a Chief Building Engineer for several corporate properties in the South Florida area. He also worked for SOS Children's Village of South Florida. His work their also involved community service to the children and families of the village. Ralph has a background in construction and he was very knowledgeable, and he was very good with his hands he could build anything. He was told many times he had hands of gold.
Ralph's greatest source of pride, other than his family, was coaching youth soccer for the City of Tamarac. He coached for ten years starting with his son, Dante's league. He enjoyed coaching and mentoring his team so much that he continued even after his son no longer participated. His passion and drive grew as his son Dante joined him in his coaching endeavors. He always felt so privileged to be a positive force and mentor to his players. His love for his kids shined through on the soccer field.
When Ralph was not on the soccer field, he enjoyed watching Formula 1 Racing and attending races annually in Sebring, Florida. He loved to dance whenever the opportunity arose, especially with family and friends. His signature "Who Loves You Baby" will forever be remembered when we think of Ralph and it will bring a smile to those of us that knew him, it was his way of showing his love for us all. He will be forever missed and always in our hearts. May he rest in peace for all eternity.
