He was also survived by his mother "Turca", and his siblings, Ramon, Herminio, Amparo, Chabela, and Mercy. Antonio, originally from the Dominican Republic, settled in New York City for over 40 years, where he met his wife and raised his family. His drive in life was to be able to provide for his family and see them become professionals. He reached retirement with a sense of pride and accomplishment knowing his lifetime of long work hours in his Barber Shop paid off. Antonio will be remembered for his humility, strength, sense of humor, nobility, and optimism throughout difficult times. He taught his family and friends never to lose hope, no matter what obstacles one encountered in life. Those who knew Antonio will always remember him as a very hard working man who loved his family, always was ready to tell a joke and stay up until dawn playing dominoes with loved ones.
