Philip Dailey, 82, of Deerfield Beach, Florida, passed away on July 30th 2022. He is survived by his daughters ; Kimberly Perez, Kristen Iwashchenko , h is son Brian Dailey ; six grandchildren , two great grandchildren ; sister-in-law Susan Godek , nieces and nephews; Sarah Lynch, John Hudanich, Brent Godek and Leslie Latta . He is Preceded in death by his parents; Robert W. Dailey and Florence T. Dailey, his beloved wife Diane Thomas Dailey, his son Charles, his sister Susan Dailey Hudanich , an brother-in-law Walter Godek.
Phil Dailey was born on March 13, 1940 to Robert Wellington Dailey and Florence Thwing Dailey in Endicott, New York. Phil grew up in Vestal , New York and Graduated from Vestal High School in 1958 , later attending Princeton University. Phil Began a long career with Simplex Time Recorder Co. in 1960, serving in the capacity of Branch Manager through most of those years , in the cities of Scranton, PA, Rochester, NY and Miami, FL. Phil later worked as Alarm Coordinator for the Coral Springs Police department.
In his spare time Phil enjoyed spending time with his family. His career with Simplex afforded him the opportunity to travel to interesting locations across the USA as well as Switzerland and Mexico. He enjoyed traveling with his wife Diane. Their travel destinations included Alaska, Hawaii, train rides across Canada, New Orleans, Savana, and later an auto trip across the USA, eventually claiming all 50 states.
Phil enjoyed computers , audio and video technology. Phil was always on the cutting edge of new developments in these fields. He enjoyed listening to music, watching movies, and later in life he rekindled his interest in singing with a community choir group, much as he had done in his youth.
Phil had a kind and caring disposition that enriched the lives of all who knew him. He will be sorely missed.
