IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Peter
Mordas
June 29, 1941 – October 22, 2025
Peter Mordas, 84, of Coral Springs, Florida, passed away on October 22, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Mordas; his children Sebastian Mordas and daughter-in-law Edyta Mordas, Gabriela Davey and son-in-law Curt Davey, and Paulina Splechta and son-in-law Mike Splechta; and his cherished grandchildren Zoe, John, Emma, Emilia, Xaver, Lisa, and Kate. Peter was preceded in death by his daughter, Agnes Marie Martin, who passed away in 2020.
Peter was born on June 29, 1941, in Šumskas, Lithuania, to Ludwik Mordas and Helena Ilkiewicz. He grew up in Šumskas and completed his education at Technikum Kolejowe im. Mikołaja Kopernika in Bydgoszcz. Peter devoted 34 years to his work as a custodial engineer, serving over 20 years at Temple Beth Orr and more than 13 years at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton. He shared 59 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Elizabeth, and together they raised a loving family.
Peter will be remembered for his kind heart, boundless humor, and infectious zest for life. He had a remarkable ability to make people smile, even on their toughest days. He was deeply devoted to his faith, loving God and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and he valued the education and well-being of his children above all else. Peter loved traveling to Europe, especially Switzerland and Poland, and cherished time spent with his favorite grand daughter Zoe, often creating joyful moments captured on Instagram. He also found peace in admiring nature and in attending church often.
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome. Services will be held privately
