Peter Bavaro, 56, of Coral Springs FL passed away on Monday February 4, 2013 at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He was born in New York on December 20, 1956 to parents Mario and Josephine Bavaro. Peter is survived by his 3 children, Michael, Peter and Amanda and the light of his life, his grandson DJ. He also leaves behind his mother Josephine Bavaro, a brother, Mario Bavaro and 3 sisters, Maria Stiger, Jo Bavaro and Darlene Kargauer as well as 2 step-daughters, Laurie and Michelle Horrigan. He loved his many nieces and nephews, Charlie, Jason, Kelly, Kari, Nick, Tony, Gina, Taylor, Ashley and Cassie and they loved their "Uncle Pete" dearly. Peter was a kind, gentle and giving man who was an avid sports fan and a devoted father and grandfather. He leaves us on this earth, but he is now in the loving arms of his wife Pamela Bavaro, his sister Deborah Celona and his father Mario Bavaro. A Celebration of Life Visitation will take place on Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Savino Weissman Funeral Home & Cremation Services where a wake service will take place at 7:00 PM with Father Michael officiating. Burial will take place at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Friday, February 8, 2013 at 11 am. Savino-Weissman Funeral Home & Cremation Services is entrusted with funeral arrangements.
