Patricia Anne Perinovic

“Pat”

November 28, 1939 – March 13, 2026

Patricia Ann Perinovic — beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend — entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the age of 86. Known to all who loved her as “Pat,” she lived a life defined by a passion for knowledge, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to the dignity of every human being.

Pat was born on November 28, 1939, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 1961, she married the love of her life, David Perinovic, in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, and the two embarked on a partnership that would last 64 remarkable years. They moved the family from Wisconsin to Coral Springs Florida in 1973, where they made their permanent home.

Together, Pat and Dave saw the world — exploring destinations across the globe through cruises and travels. Along the way, they built lifelong friendships with many of the wonderful people they met on their journeys.

Pat was a woman of many passions. She was endlessly crafty, always immersed in a new project — whether knitting, sewing, or embroidering. An avid reader, she loved books – especially, but not limited to, history and politics. She loved all genres of music, and her extensive book, record and CD collections were a testament to a deep, lifelong love of reading and music. She loved the movies and enjoyed the Broadway Series for many years with her close group of friends.

Pat had a sharp and inquisitive mind. She loved games of all kinds, and bridge held a special place in her heart — she played regularly with a beloved group of girlfriends whose company she treasured. Jeopardy! was her favorite television program, and her family — recognizing just how formidable her knowledge was — encouraged her to take the show’s online contestant test just a few years ago.

Above all, Pat believed deeply in truth, justice, and equality for all people — regardless of race, religion, or sexual orientation. To her, it was always and only about the content of someone’s character. She carried that conviction with grace and consistency throughout her life, sharing those values with her children; it is among the most enduring gifts she leaves behind.

She is survived by:

Her husband of 64 years, David Perinovic;
Her children, Pamela (Perinovic) Young and Daniel Perinovic;
Her four grandchildren, Lauren (Perinovic) Bonnette, Nicholas Perinovic, Jack Young, and Anne (Young) Holloway.

Pat was preceded in death by her father, Frank Pavlich; her mother, Anne (Pavlich) Tuma; her stepfather, George Tuma; and her brother, David Pavlich.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the
American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)
in honor of Pat’s lifelong dedication to truth, justice, and equality for all.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Patricia Anne Perinovic. It is an honor for Coral Springs Funeral Home to be entrusted with the arrangements for her final services.
