Patricia M. Passero, 66, of Deerfield Beach, Florida passed away Thursday morning August 2, 2012 at Heartland Healthcare of Boca Raton, Florida. She was born December 11, 1945 in Queens, New York to Domenic Passero and Rose Critelli. She grew up in Valley Stream, New York and moved to Florida to be with family. Pat attended Wheeler Avenue Elementary School, Valley Stream Memorial and Central High School. She enjoyed cooking, the beach, watching "her football" and taking care of her nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces. Who could forget Fletcher Avenue and all the parties. She was that person who everyone just liked to be with because of her honesty. For everyone that knew her would say the same. "She was an incredible person with a tremendous heart who loved people and animals, who told you what she felt when she felt it!" She is preceded in death by her parents: Domenic "Baba" and Rose "Nana", her cherished sister Evelyn, and now joined other family members and good friends in Heaven. She is survived by her cherished sister: Janice, her nephews: Robert, Vincent, Bill and Domenic, her nieces: Lisa and Nancy, her grand nephews: Frankie, Vincent, Michael and Vincent, her grand nieces: Nicole, Gina, Tiffany, Rachel, Amanda and Sofia. Pat wanted everyone to remember this and it is on the back of her memorial prayer card: Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there; I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sun on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft star-shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there; I did not die. A poem written in 1932 by Mary Elizabeth Frye
