Octavio Negrillo, 85, of Sunrise, FL passed away on September 17, 2017. Born in Peru, he was one of six children to Sixto and Natividad Negrillo. Survived by his wife of 39 years, Elba; children, Lucy Negrillo, Christian Martinez, Ana Carolina Morris, Jessica Duran, Natividad (Fulgencio, Jr. ) Negrillo-Gonzalez, and Jimmy Negrillo; grandchildren, Cynthia, Peggy, Walter, Domenica, Tatiana, Janiece (Josh Waterman), and Gianna; and a great grandson, Greysen. Also left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Edmundo Negrillo Salinas and Maximo Negrillo. He was preceded in death by his son, Jarolim, in 2014 and his siblings, Sixto Negrillo, Carlos Rodriguez, and Teresa Negrillo.

Octavio had a passion for music. He played the guitar and recruited Peruvian singers to relocate to the United States. His favorite sport was soccer and he loved to bet at the racetrack and watch bull fights.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 4:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. with a Memorial Service to begin at 5:00 P.M.
