Obituary

Nanciann Nuessle, 83, of Coral Springs, FL passed away at her home, Park Summit, on Friday, March 13, 2015. Nanciann was born on November 17, 1931 in Columbus, OH to William and Regina Bollinger.

Nanciann was raised in a Catholic family that instilled great values in her. She was crowned Miss. Central Ohio in 1949 before she began working in the family business and later as an asset banker. This high moral character created in her as a child were evident in her work as a banker as she continually received wonderful reviews citing her integrity and honesty as an employee.

Nanciann was a devoted wife to her husband, Richard, who predeceased her in 1985. She was an integral part of her children's lives and was always at the ready to assist them in any fashion necessary. She displayed dedicated and unconditional love to her children and grandchildren and always encouraged them. It was, however, a must for Nanciann, or Memo as she was affectionally called, to feed her grandchildren ice cream for breakfast. She began the tradition of family vacations every summer to Florida or Atlantic City from the family home in Pennsylvania. This is something carried on today by her children and grandchildren. Nanciann ventured with the family until her health prevented her from doing so. An avid reader, Nanciann also enjoyed her coffee, a cold beer, and a swimming pool was her sanctuary. She collected elephants and was known for quick-witted one line zingers that brought anyone within earshot into uproarious laughter.

Nanciann is survived by her children, Victor (Debra) Nuessle, Julie (Larry) Bergstrom, and Gusti (Darrell) Strong; her grandchildren, Susan, Heather, Traci, Brian, Ashley, Ali, Natalie, Tori, and Aaron; and her great grandchildren, Cayla, Aiden, Braxten, Colton, Parker, and Jason. Also left to cherish her memory is her sister, Patricia Gardner, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at Park Summit, 8500 Royal Palm Blvd., Coral Springs, FL 33065 from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on April 18, 2015 on the 3rd floor in the auditorium. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Nanciann's memory be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
