Muriel Margaret Foreman (88) went home to be with the Lord on October 4, 2015. She was the first born of Hermann and Margaret (Ross) Merkt in Chicago Ill on July 8th, 1927.

She graduated from business school and began working as a secretary. In May of 1949 she married Roland J. Foreman of Mishicot WI. They raised their family in Franklin Park (a Chicago suburb). Muriel's dedication was to her family with her focus being on raising two children and caring for Roland after he suffered a stroke in 1967. In 1969 she moved to Plantation FL with her family. She continually put the needs of her family ahead of her own needs.

Muriel was preceded in death by her husband Roland and brother Hermann. She is survived by her son and daughter (Gary and Janice), their spouses (Mary Kate Foreman and Michael Lockhart), 5 grandchildren (David Lockhart, Jeffrey Lockhart (wife Jessica), Lauren Young (husband Kimo), Kate Foreman, John Foreman and 3 great-grandchildren (Alyssa, Adyson and Kai).

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Coral Springs Funeral Home on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Followed by a brief memorial service at 11:00 am. The family has asked that you not send flowers, but make a contribution to your favorite charity.
