IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael L.
Bevins
June 5, 1957 – February 15, 2026
Michael Louis Bevins, age 68, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Michael was born on June 5, 1957, in Hamden, Connecticut, and most recently resided in Delray Beach, Florida. He lived a life full of curiosity, humor, and deep appreciation for the things that made life rich—travel, music, laughter, and good company.
Michael was endlessly funny, quick-witted, and known for his love of music, especially The Beatles and The Grateful Dead, along with countless other artists who formed the soundtrack of his life. He loved to travel and experience the world, always eager for the next adventure. A lifelong tennis enthusiast, he later fell in love with pickleball, embracing it with the same enthusiasm he brought to everything he enjoyed. He also appreciated a good glass of wine and the conversations that came with it.
Professionally, Michael worked in medical sales for Datex-Ohmeda, which later became part of GE Healthcare, before retiring. He took pride in his work and the relationships he built over the years.
Michael was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marilyn A. Clarke-Bevins, and his parents, Daniel P. Bevins and Patricia A. Johnson.
He is survived by his daughter, Kaley V. Bevins, who was the center of his world and whom he loved fiercely; his stepson, Anthony N. Bianchi; and his step-grandsons, A.J. N. Bianchi and Benjamin O. Bianchi. He is also survived by his siblings: Daniel Bevins (Kathy), Geraldine DeCapua (Ed), Stephen Bevins (Lisa), and Patty Erdman (Dave), along with countless nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Those who knew Michael will remember his humor, his stories, his love of music, and his unmistakable presence. He lived fully, loved deeply, and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
A memorial service will be held for friends and family to attend. The family asks that Michael be remembered with a favorite song, a shared laugh, or a raised glass in his honor.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Michael's memory to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN), an organization dedicated to advancing research, patient support, and early detection of pancreatic cancer. [Donate Here]
