Martina Karen Giallongo, 50, of Coconut Creek, Florida passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 after a long bravely fought battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Martina was born on Sunday, July 15, 1962 in Kittery, Maine and grew up in Salem, NH. All who knew Martina loved her. Her adventurous spirit; loving nature; and powerful character will live in our heart's forever. Martina is survived by her beloved husband: Peter Dougan, cherished daughter: Skye Olivia Dougan, cherished son: Conor Peter Dougan. She also leaves her dear parents: Michael & Eva-Marie Giallongo, adored sister: Cynthia Renee and loving nephew: John Anthony Piscopo III. Martina had a great deal of love to give out, and will always live long with those that accepted her love. In addition to being a loving mother to her children, Martina also volunteered her time as an advocate for children in need. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Foundation . A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will take place at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 13th, 2013 at Savino-Weissman Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
