Marjorie Krauss, 79, of Miramar, FL passed away on November 12, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, NY to Walter and Marjorie McDaniel, one of three daughters, on December 22, 1935. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Vandenbroeke; son, Frederick Krauss Jr.; and her granddaughter, Maegen Vandenbroeke. She also leaves her sisters, Louise Moscati and Joan Castronovo to cherish her memory.
Marjorie was married to Frederick Krauss, Sr., for 50 years before his death in 2005. Marjorie remained in New York most of her adult life, working in Manhattan for entertainer Merv Griffin and Former President Richard Nixon. She switched career paths, eventually retiring from accounting firm Ernst and Young before moving to Florida. Marjorie love to design and make clothing; she was an artist who drew and painted portraits and landscapes. Always smiling and kind, she left an impression with everyone she met.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 A.M. on December 4, 2015 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, followed by inurnment at South Florida National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her beloved Frederick.
