Marisa Caran Catronio, 21, of Coral Springs, FL passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 17, 2013. Marisa was born August 10, 1992 in Coral Springs, FL to Gary and Natalie Catronio.

A student of Broward County Public Schools, Marisa graduated from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and began attending Palm Beach State College. Although she was shy at first glance, Marisa was a bubbly girl with a great sense of humor. She was very sweet, warm and caring. Her undeniable maternal instinct made her an amazing leader for her two younger brothers. Marisa was a fashionista and loved to shop for the latest trends. Her beloved Wheaton Terrier, Sam, was often a target of her stylish ways. She loved country western music, baking, and crafts.

Marisa is survived by her adoring parents, Gary and Natalie Catronio; brothers, Jesse and Dustin Catronio; aunts and uncles, Ron (Mary Ann) Catronio, Vicky (Dale) McCartney, and Mary (Dom) Federico. Also left to cherish her memory are her cousins, Andria, Marc, Brock, Loretta, Ryan, Melanie, and Devin. Marisa has also left William Rudolph, with whom she has shared a devoted relationship with for five years. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph & Marie Catronio and Frank & Theresa Tizzano.

Friends may call on Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Coral Springs Funeral Home. A Wake Service will begin at 6:30 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:15 A.M. on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church Memorial.
