Marilyn Ann Markisello 'Nanny', 80 of Coral Springs, Florida passed Thursday evening August 2, 2012 surrounded by her children at Northwest Regional Medical Center in Margate, Florida. Mom was born July, 24, 1932 in Jersey City, NJ to Rocco Markisello and Lena Scarpine. Mom grew up in North Bergen, NJ then moved to Florida in 1993 with her children. Mom graduated from Union Hill High School Union City, NJ Mom enjoyed spending time with her family and friends near and far especially those dearest to her. Mom was an animal lover and butterflies where her favorite. Mom loved going to bingo, cooking and shopping for a good bargain. Mom enjoying going to new places ,watching game shows,soaps,and enjoyed life and laughter. Mom's favorite thing to do was telling stories about her children to anyone who would listen. When it came to others mom always listened and told you what she thought bad or good it made no difference to her. She told you how it was! Mom was the most loving and caring person to have ever walked the earth. Mom is preceded in death by her parents Rocco and Lena. Her brothers Sunny and George and sons Douglas and Michael Mom is survied by her loving children Larry, Tina, Frank, Wendy grandchildren Richie, Diana, Alan, Natalie, Cassandra, Benjamin Jr. , Brittany, Frank Jr. A reminder of mom: A face that is always on my mind , A smile i have seen a million times, Two eyes that light up the sky at night, One last battle you could not fight, The day was long,then night then morn, I knew that soon you would be gone, I clasped your hand so warm in mine, Soon we would be out of time, To stay with us you fought so hard, A million pieces went our hearts, Now a photo i look at to your smile, I keep your number on my speed dial, A video i watch to hear your voice, This i do ...... i have no choice, But great memories i will always keep with me, You are loved in our hearts for eternity.
