Marielle Cantin, 91, of Deerfield Beach, FL entered into eternal rest on November 4, 2023. She is
survived by her grandchildren, Jean-Claude (Suzanne) Cantin, Nicole Cantin, Philip (Dee) Bradley, her
daughter-in-law, Linda Cantin, and great-grandchildren Devin and Chayse. And we can't forget her great-
grand(fur)babies Sadie, Sinatra, Samantha, Latte, Paco, Big and Hampton! She is preceded in death by
her parents, Casimir and Valeda Moquin, her husband Marcel, her son Claude, her siblings Jeannine,
Gerard, Therese and Louis-Paul, and great-grand(fur)baby Jimmy.

Marielle was born on January 26, 1932 in Chambly, Quebec, Canada. She married Marcel Cantin and in
1951 they had a son, Claude. They moved from Canada to Davie, Florida in 1956. They lived in
Hollywood, Dania Beach and Jensen Beach and also spent time in Duck Key, FL and Maggie Valley, NC.
Marielle and Marcel took many trips abroad together, traveling and enjoying all that life had to offer and
making wonderful memories. One of the last trips Marielle took was to Montreal with her son and
grandchildren for a Cantin family reunion.

After Marcel's death in 1997, Marielle moved from Jensen Beach to Deerfield Beach to be closer to her
family. Marielle loved walking on the beach, spending mornings with friends at Panera, and afternoons
at Bobby Rubino's drinking a glass of Merlot. Most of all she loved her time with her grandson, Jean-
Claude. She loved all animals, especially dogs and birds. She loved taking care of Jean-Claude's dogs.
Marielle will be missed by all.

Visitation and service will be held at Coral Springs Funeral Home on November 16, 2023 from 5PM-8PM.
The service will start at 5:30 PM. Marielle will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City, FL,
next to her husband, Marcel.
