Maria "Luisa" Cortes, 80, of Coconut Creek, Florida passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Broward Health Coral Springs. She was born on Saturday, January 28, 1933 in Medellin, Colombia. Luisa loved to shop, especially at Macy's. She was kind and generous, especially to her grandchildren and will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arcesio on August 5, 2003 and her son, Ivan on August 5, 2009. She is survived by her son: Giovanni, 2 daughters: Gloria (Libardo) Rodriguez and Gladys (John) Getjanc, sister: Margarita and 10 grandchildren. A visitation will take place on Monday, March 4, 2013 from 1:00 P.M.- 2:00 P.M. with a wake service taking place at 2:00 pm with Deacon Jose Bermudez officiating.
