Peggy Ziady (Trout) passed away on April 27th after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 incredible years, Bill of Tamarac, FL, her daughter Jessica Kenny and her husband Tim of Kingston, Ma, her son Bobby of Tamarac, FL and her mom, Ruth Trout of Salem, NH. She was the adoring grandmother to Hannah and Cecilia, who were the lights of her life. She is also survived by her brothers Mike Trout and his wife Donna of Salem, NH, Bob Trout and his wife Patti of Fullerton, Ca, Ed Trout and his wife Charlotte of Danville, NH and Abe Ziady of Boca Raton, FL; many aunts and uncles including her Godmother Peggy Kiatos of Melrose, Ma; and many nieces and nephews. She died peacefully at home surrounded by her husband, children, mother and lifelong friend Alica Compagnone.
Peggy was raised in Salem, NH and after meeting Bill over a C.B. radio when she was only 18 years old, they married and moved to South Florida on their wedding night in 1978. She was a stay at home mom for many years only to start her professional career with the Florida Panthers when her children were grown. For over a decade, she worked in their Human Resources department and quickly became a "second mom" to many of their employees. But luckiest of all were the two that actually got to call her mom and the two that got to call her Grammy. Being a mother was what Peggy was born to do. And as good as she was at it, becoming a grandmother was her greatest achievement. She was never happier than when she was with her grandbabies. Peggy was a passionate and devoted Boston sports fan. She loved her friends like family and her family like they were her everything.
All friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Peggy's life at Coral Springs Funeral Home on Sunday, April 30th 2017 from 5-9pm.
