Margaret L. Elway of Parkland, FL passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at home with her daughter, son-in-law, and dogs, Dallas and Buddy, at her side. Margaret was born March 5, 1919 in Cleveland, OH to Nicholas and Anna Lobins. Margaret worked at Talon in Meadville, PA for 40 years as an inspector. Upon her retirement, she moved to South Florida to be near her daughter and son-in-law. Margaret was of Roman Catholic faith and worked on the Democratic Committee. She was a very caring and generous fun-loving woman. She was a passionate shopper and a fantastic cook. Margaret has a tremendous heart for animals and her family. Margaret is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Scarlett and Paul Shultz; and her siblings, Ann Lobins of Loudon, Tennessee, Joe Lobins of Saline, Michigan and Sam Lobins of Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Bill, John, Steve, Frank, Nick, George, and 2 sisters, Elizabeth and Irene. Scarlett and Paul wish to extend gratitude to Vitas Hospice Team 151 for their care and support of their mother during her final days. Also would like to thank friends and family for their love, support and prayers. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Parkland.
