Marcos Fidel Molano, 68, of Parkland, FL, December 29 th , entered the gates of heaven on 2020.

Marcos was born in 1952 in Bogota, Colombia the son of Marcos Fidel Molano Rodriguez and Julia Elvira Campos de Molano

Marco came to New York City at age 18 on his own. He hustled in the streets selling everything he could from travel bags to scarves. He eventually earned enough money to move to Fort Lauderdale, where he met the love of his life Marcia.  They married in 1976 and had three children together Erika (41), Marko (31), and Natalia (28).

Marcos was known for being a charismatic, caring, humble, and a generous person. He often worked six days a week at his Mexican-Cuban restaurant El Mariachi, both locations on University Drive, usually conducting business from the same seat at one of the locations, where some knew him as the "Spanish mayor" of Coral Springs.  He loved the business, always made everyone feel at home and wanted all his customers to know they were a part of his life.

Whatever he did in life, it always had to be the biggest and the best for his family. He had a love for music, specially the Mariachi Bands. He loved to serenade his family and friends. He adored his mother who was living in Bogota, Colombia and would do anything for her. When Marcos was not working, he enjoyed spending time with his family, going to the beach, floating in the water and baking in the sun. He loved to checkout new restaurants, and really loved a good martini, whiskey or glass of wine!! Any chance he had he would be blasting his favorite music in the car and especially on a Sunday morning! Lets' not forget his Cafecito! He loved, loved his coffee. Marcos was loved by many people, he will forever be a legend!

Marcos is survived by his wife, Marcia, his children Erika, Marko, and Natalia; his one grandson, Liam; and by his siblings, Miguel, Clara, and Pilar.
