Marc Andre Julien affectionately known as Marco by his friends and his family, was born March 13, 1959. at Petite Riviere De L'Artibonite. He was the fourth child born to Adieula Charles and Nelio Julien. He went to Frere Andre for the primary school. He completed his secondary at Normalien Reuni in Port -au- Prince. After his Baccalaureate he worked as a teacher in his hometown. Marc Andre Julien was a jovial and happy man. He never complained about anything. He liked to challenge himself. Marc always lit up with his dancing and cheer. His jovial smile and attitude was admired by all. His humorous view of life was contagious and time spent in his presence was both fun and lighthearted. On August 19, he came to New York, where he did not hesitate to do hard work. He was a workaholic, he believed in success . When Marc decided to complete his education in the United States, he was an undecided student: he started in Hunter College in New York majoring chemical industry, later on he changed major, and finally he graduated with a bachelor degree in Business Administration in Miami from Phoenix University. Marc is survived by his beautiful daughter Rubie Julien from his first wife Guerdy Saintelien. He raised her in Florida with his second wife Pauline Thermidor. As two hard working parents interested in education they tough her the value and benefit of hard work and high education. The three musketeers lived a happy life together until Marc was diagnosed with a killer beast cancer. He struggled with the disease for a long year between Florida under the care of Rubie and Pauline and in New York under loving care, hard work and sacrifice of his sisters Yanick and Ortencia Julien. Marc then passed away at Broward Hospital North last Wednesday, AUGUST 28, 2013 and leaves RUBIE under the tender loving care of her female father: Pauline. He leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life, beside his wife Pauline and his daughter Rubie: His brothers: Alix Julien, Francois Duvalier Filma, Wilson Filma, Wilbert Filma, Jean Claude Filma. His sisters: Yanick Julien, Ortencia Julien, Marie Jose Julien, Blondine Julien, Marie Nicole Julien Fortune, Solange, Joceline Lera and Adeline Saint-hubert. His cousins: Dr Nissage Cadet, Jocely Cadet, Mirlande Cadet, Caricia Cadet, Mme Lunie Jn Phillipe, Mme Merville Louis, Emannuel Julien, Mme Ghislaine Cadet Paulinis, Mr Rosner Jn Baptiste, Mr. Tosler Louis, Mr. & Mme.
