Luz Maria Hurtado, 88 years of age, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in Vitas Hospice Care, Pembroke Pines, Florida. Luz was born on February 10, 1927 in Sancti Spiritus, Cuba to Plutarco Alvarez and Pastora Camejo. She is survived by her two daughters, Marilou Hurtado-Alfonso and Maria Pilar Hurtado-Perez, two grandchildren, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
