IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Linda P.
Cappiello
February 12, 1945 – November 5, 2024
Linda Cappiello, 79 years of age, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 peacefully in her home in Tamarac Florida.
Linda was born February 12, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Michael and Lillian Cunningham. She was the youngest of 3 siblings, Alice and Reggie preceded her in death. Linda went to PS 10 and PS 203 and graduated from Tilden HS in 1962.
Linda moved to East 52nd Street when she was 11 years old. That is where she met her future husband and love of her life Frank, when he was 12. They both grew up on the same block and began to date at the age of 16. In 1965 the two were married and began life on their own.
Both Linda and Frank stayed in the neighborhood they grew up in and bought their first house together in 1972. A year later they welcomed their son Frank into the family. The three shared wonderful memories together in their house on Avenue T. They lived there together until 2003, until Linda and Frank moved down south to Tamarac, Florida. They enjoyed retirement life for many years and made great memories and friends in their retirement community.
Linda was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and "Nanny". She was a hard worker, juggling a full time job as a pharmaceutical technician and the job of housewife. She loved spending time with her family doing things like watching her son Frank play baseball or babysitting her grandsons Frank and Joseph. She loved all "her boys" and would do anything for any of them.
Linda always had a smile on her face and gave off positive energy. She was welcoming to everyone she came across and would have time for anyone who needed it. She was loving and caring, always thinking of others first, putting other needs above hers.
Linda leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband Frank, her son and daughter in law Frank and Laurie, her grandchildren Frank and Joe, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
