Lillian Cordes, 93, of Tamarac, FL passed away peacefully on June 05, 2015. Born on December 25, 1921 in Hoboken, NJ to Fritz and Augusta Strassner, she also resided in Bronx, NY where she held a position with the school board for a number of years, and Dumont, NJ for 39 years. Lillian enjoyed a loving marriage to Richard W. Cordes prior to his passing in 1990. Lillian is survived by her son, Richard (Lori) Cordes; her daughter, Christine (Richard) Ropke; 3 grandchildren, Michael (Lindsey) Cordes, Jennifer Ropke, and David (Amanda) Cordes; and great grandson, Steven.
